This painting by Dmitry Oboznenko depicts a scene with a group of soldiers in uniform standing in front of an old building. The work is done in a realistic style, emphasizing details and textures. The building in the background possibly resembles architecture from past centuries, with peeling plaster and broken windows, enhancing the sense of time and place. The soldiers, dressed in light uniforms with medals, are posed informally, giving the work a sense of everyday life and intimacy. The color palette is limited to warm and neutral tones, creating an impression of antiquity and calmness. This work by Obosnenko stands out for its historical value and ability to convey emotions through the simplicity of composition.
