This 2023 piece by Natalia Shtal is a unique blend of collage and drawing, creating an evocative image. The artwork depicts an angel walking over city rooftops made from torn brown paper, lending the illusion of real buildings. The simplicity of lines and use of minimalist strokes impart a sense of childlike innocence and dreaminess. Stars scattered across the sky and a subtle halo above the angel's head symbolize hope and peace. This artwork evokes a feeling of lightness and serves as a reminder of the importance of keeping faith in better things. The stylization and creative approach to composition make the painting intriguing for collectors seeking innovative and emotional works.
